Noob vs FNAF is a wave-survival horror shooter where you fight portal-spawning animatronics instead of hiding from them.

The tips here focus on practical play—spawn patterns, resource management, and positioning—so you can push further without guessing.

About Noob vs FNAF

Noob vs FNAF is a wave-survival horror shooter where portal-spawning animatronics replace the usual Five Nights at Freddy’s waiting game. Play as Noob alone or in 2-player co-op, choose a difficulty and map, then survive increasingly dangerous waves.

The game includes six locations—Hospital, FNAF, Among As, Haggy, and Backrooms—along with 11 guns, buildable defences like wooden railings and turrets, gunpowder barrels, and hireable residents.

Collect resources between attacks, place your defences, and last longer to earn more points. There are also 90 character looks to customize Noob’s appearance.

How To Play Noob vs FNAF

  1. Gather resources before the wave arrives. Early downtime is the best time to collect supplies, find food, and plan where enemies are likely to approach.

  2. Build defences along enemy routes. Wooden railings slow animatronics down, giving you and your turrets more time to damage them. Gunpowder barrels work when enemies bunch together.

  3. Protect important areas with turrets. Place turrets at chokepoints or around the base so they thin out crowds while you handle enemies that break through.

  4. Choose the right gun for the wave. The game has 11 guns. Switch if a particular group of animatronics is getting too close or overwhelming your current setup.

  5. Recover health between fights. Food restores health, and it is safer to collect or use it before the next portal opens than while enemies are surrounding you.

  6. Use residents and teammates wisely. Hire residents for extra defensive support. In co-op, one player can collect resources and build while the other covers incoming animatronics, though both players should stay close enough to rescue each other.

Tips For Surviving Noob vs FNAF

  • Defend tighter routes on harder difficulties. Open spaces create more angles for animatronics to attack from. A narrow path with railings and turrets is easier to control.

  • Do not overspend too early. Buy useful cover and firepower, but keep enough resources for repairs, food, or extra support when later waves become more demanding.

  • Keep moving when the line breaks. If enemies get around your defences, avoid being surrounded. Reposition toward a safer route instead of standing in the middle of the crowd.

  • Split roles without splitting up completely. In 2-player co-op, covering separate sides can work, but wandering too far apart leaves one player vulnerable if they get trapped.

Why Co-op Changes the Game

Two players can split the work: one shoots, the other collects and builds. Each can cover a different side so nothing slips through, and if one gets trapped, the other can bail them out. Different guns let you cover more threat types, and surviving together handles the pressure better than going solo.

More Co-op Horror Games To Try

  • Backrooms with a Friend — A fitting follow-up if the Backrooms map was your favourite. Stay together and avoid letting confusing corridors separate the team.

  • Death Forest: Horror Multiplayer — Moves the danger outdoors, where dark paths and open ground make threats harder to track.

  • Entity Scavenger — Focuses on searching for items while a hostile presence is nearby, rewarding quick movement and careful teamwork.

  • Backrooms with a Friend — Its co-op survival focus and Backrooms setting make it a natural next play for teams who enjoyed defending against waves together in Noob vs FNAF.
  • Fnaf 4 — Players wanting more animatronic horror after Noob vs FNAF can trade base-building and guns for the tense, sound-driven survival scares of a classic FNAF entry.

Enjoy!
